Collective Society and MARY KAY have partnered to present LeadHer TeacHer. LeadHer TeacHer provides a series of complimentary workshops that give BIPOC women a chance to connect, communicate, and collaborate with other women on their journey to self-discovery in a safe space.
May 25th presents – The Power of HER:
This workshop is aimed at helping women gain skills in business development, communication, marketing & branding, and even more to nurture their entrepreneurism.
June 15th presents – Holistic Journey:
Join us as we encourage women to embark on their holistic journey towards finding out what is self love & self care. This workshop will focus on the importance of manifesting and visualizing your purpose within your holistic journey towards an enriched life.
July 6th presents – The Skin You’re In:
Being confident in the skin you’re in is about loving every aspect of yourself. Learn how skincare and a healthy diet can help you do so.

Lynda Rose | General Manager, Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd.
A true Mary Kay ambassador, Lynda Rose is regarded for her commitment to living the Mary Kay way, elevating Mary Kay as a beauty brand, and sharing the viability of Mary Kay as a business opportunity. Lynda has devoted much of her Mary Kay career to travelling the country to mentor and guide women, something she will continue to pursue in her role as General Manager. Lynda is passionate about improving entrepreneurship opportunities for women and is proud to have served on the Government of Canada’s Advisory Council on Women Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders where she advised and shared insights on issues affecting women in business. Lynda is an active member of the Direct Sellers Association (DSA) of Canada, she has provided her leadership as Chair of the DSA Board, and as a result, was honoured with the Ivan P. Phelan award and the distinguished Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her significant contribution to the direct selling industry.
Makini Smith | Author , Entrepreneur and founder of A Walk In My Stilettos
Makini is a 4-time published author and host of the 5 star rated A Walk In My Stilettos Podcast for women looking for the tools and motivation to conquer their fears, own their story and strengthen their resilience muscle. She has successfully crafted a business in personal development as a mindset coach helping women reach their goals. She’s been seen on Chatelaine, xoNecole, iHeart Radio, CBC, Vice News, a billboard in Times Square and much more. Makini is a leader that serves the community and that was apparent by her run for Member of Provincial Parliament in the 2018 Canadian Election.
Kamshuka | Author, International Speaker and Entrepreneur
Kamshuka is an award winning entrepreneur, community leader, international speaker and celebrated author. She is a mindfulness practitioner in the wellness universe and a certified Life & Wellness coach that focuses on self love and mastering the mind and emotions. Kamshuka is the author of the 2016 published book “Becoming Warrior”,“Goddess11” and co-author of “GirlPower Uncensored” which is a collaboration of driven and powerful women in Atlanta. She is the founder of “Conscious Warriors” an online platform bringing wellness to the front through services and products that the everyday person can add to their wellness toolbox.
Savanna Hamilton | Raptors Host
Savanna Hamilton is a Host and Producer at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. In front of the camera, she hosts a segment on the daily Raptors show, Raptors Today Extra and is a featured host on the show NBA XL aired on NBA TV Canada. She is also the social media reporter for the Toronto Raptors post-game show called Raptors Night Cap. Behind-the-scenes Savanna has contributed to shows such as Budweiser Stage at Home, The Hangout, and many MLSE shows and productions.
Dominque Tipper | Actor, Producer and Film Writer
Dominique holds a lead actress role in the critically-acclaimed series The Expanse which is in its Fifth Season. Dominique has also held some really dope roles in movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as well as The Girl With All The Gifts featuring stars like Gemma Arterton, Glenn Close and Paddy Considine. Dominque has appeared in Mark Waters’ adaptation, of Richelle Mead’s young adult novel Vampire Academy and she has also starred Fast Girls. In addition to acting Dominique took her first steps into directing and producing in 2018 with the creation of “Trying To Find Me” her first short film based on the one woman play of the same name, written and performed by Ann Akin.
Ivanna Ramnath | Senior Product Marketing Specialist, Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd.
Ivanna is a Senior Product Marketer and member of the DE&I Counsel at Mary Kay Canada. In her role, she supports forecasting, pricing, planning promotions, and the product lifecycle of skincare, colour cosmetics, body care, and fragrance products, ensuring that consultants and customers across Canada can enjoy beauty. She is passionate about increasing diverse representation in the beauty industry, as well as in the media.
